When your product arrives at TWF for finishing, job one is the selection and application of the right pretreatment process. We have the capabilities and experience to work with most kinds of substrates, including aluminum, steel, extrusions, castings, plastic and fiberglass. Our comprehensive capabilities and expertise ensure this vital step can and will be done right.

A partial list of TWF pretreatment options includes:

• Iron Phosphate — A six-stage conveyor wash. We also have a seven-stage iron phosphate dip line with 10-foot tanks, that includes an acid etch for light rust and laser burn removal.
• Zinc Phosphate — Superior protection in a seven-stage dip line that meets the stringent TT-C-490 Type I Military Specification. Tank size: 3' x 3.5' x 10'.
• Chromate Conversion Coating — TWF’s chromate process is certified to the stringent MIL-DTL-5541 standard. Our 12-foot tanks offer both RoHS compliant Clear Chromate and Yellow Chromate processes.
